Have you ever wondered what this social media thing is all about? Yeah, me too! "Livin for the Likes" showed up one Spring afternoon when I was sitting on my deck noodling around on my guitar. I immediately started laughing at myself. The past year or so I have made a conscience effort to point myself towards JOY. For me, I do that with writing music. Writing this song made me so happy! Then around Thanksgiving last year, my kid told me he would love to record some of my songs for me. I thought yeah, yeah, yeah, he is so sweet but he dosen't want to do that. I thought, okay, I'll play along because I don't want to hurt his feelings (he's an incredibly beautiful human 😊.) OMG after Reid got ahold of the song and began adding his musical creativity I was literally blown away and simultaneously on the moon. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I hope you enjoy a little bit of levity while listening to "Livin for the Likes."
